About

I was born in Odessa, Ukraine in 1986. My father and brother both had photography as a hobby, so I was familiar with cams from a pretty young age, but my first cam was presented by my brother at the age of 13. Back than I was mostly shooting some experimental macro shots and rarely landscapes. Honestly, I wasn't really excited by photography back then.
Though I was totally excited by the Photoshop. I started playing with photoshop almost at the same time and never dropped it. I never read any tutorials when I was first starting, so most of the things I now know I learned by myself.
When it was time for me to decide which profession to choose I chose Genetics, but photography and photoshop are now my main hobbies that take almost the same ammount of time I spend on science.

At the moment I'm a PhD student in neurosciences.

To make my photos I use following equipment:

Canon EOS 400D, Sigma 10-20mm, Canon 17-85 IS, Canon 70-300mm, Canon 17-55mm, Canon 50 f/1.8, tripod and remote controller.
All photos are being processed in Photoshop from RAW files.
